The blackness – a perfect example of a lava tube below the surface of
Þingvellir National Park. This cave was created in the distant past as
volcanic activity waned.
Then have a bite to eat – we provide a packed lunch – before floating off into the blue.
The
Silfra fissure is one of Iceland’s most surprising natural creations.
Located in the heart of Þingvellir, the site of the world’s oldest
parliament, this deep, narrow rift is filled with crystal clear water
that will give you a transcendental feeling of weightlessness as you
float gently along with the lazy current.
Rated as one of the
world’s top ten diving sites, Silfra offers up to 100 metres of
underwater visibility, and this tour will give you the opportunity to
explore this unique underwater world for one hour. Black and Blue is an
exotic trip in an environment most will encounter only in their dreams.
