A truly wild adventure for anyone who wants to see Iceland from a different perspective.
Take
off from Reykjavík Airport and enjoy a bird’s-eye view of the city. If
conditions allow, your pilot may decide to land on a mountain top where
you can walk on one of the black volcanoes that rise up from the
Reykjanes peninsula.
After a 15-minute flight, you will gear up
for a ride on a quad bike. Follow rugged, cross-country tracks through a
geothermal landscape of hot rocks and steamy, bubbling hot springs to
reach the beach that was the set for several scenes in Clint Eastwood’s
film Flags of our Fathers.
Stand astride the Mid-Atlantic Ridge
between Europe and America, with a foot in each continent – only in
Iceland! Your two-hour quad bike tour will end at the Blue Lagoon, where
you can relax in the soothing warm water after a spectacular day.
The
price includes your helicopter flight, quad bike hire (two people per
quad bike) and the return coach trip to your hotel. We also offer the
option of a luxury car for your return journey from the Blue Lagoon to
your hotel for an additional charge. Hot chocolate and biscuits will be
provided during your quad bike trip.
