Begin a day in Þingvellir National Park, the site of an ancient Viking parliament which first convened back in the 10th century. From there, through the desolate mountain pass of Kaldidalur to Langjökull Glacier for an unforgettable journey of discovery across this vast field of ice. Next it’s into the lava to explore one of Iceland's longest and most spectacular lava caves. En route: intriguing waterfalls and bubbling hot springs before returning to Reykjavík.
